This lightweight formula absorbs excess oil, blurs the appearance of pores, and leaves skin shine-free. Tinted with a unique iron oxide blend for additional Blue Light defense, and blends in sheer. Skin looks fresh and feels clean with a modern matte finish. Suitable for Normal to Oily and Combination skin types.

Key Ingredients:

-Zinc Oxide - Patented, Zinc Oxide 12% provides UVA/UVA and Free Radical Defense

-Iron Oxides - Most commonly used as cosmetic colorants, these micronized pigments also help protect skin from damage and photoaging caused by blue (HEV) light.

-Silicone Powder - Highly elastic, sponge-like particles that allow for absorption of excess surface oil. This powder blurs imperfections and minimizes pores to soften appearance of skin texture.

-LIPOCHROMAN™ - A powerful antioxidant that helps prevent skin aging due to pollution and other environmental aggressors.

-Bisabolol - A soothing agent derived from chamomile oil that helps to calm and condition the skin.

How often should I apply?
Apply Sunforgettable® Total Protection™ Face Shield SPF 50 15 minutes before exposure to environmental aggressors. Like all SPF products, reapply every 2 hours. For convenient all-day reapplication on-the-go or directly over makeup, use the Total Protection™ Brush-on Shield SPF 50.
How long will the product last?
If applied once daily as recommended, Sunforgettable® Total Protection™ Face Shield SPF 50 will last approximately 90 days.
Is this product safe for sensitive skin?
Total Protection™ Face Shield SPF 50 is 100% mineral environmental protection that is free of chemical active ingredients, oil free, hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic and suitable for all skin types. If you have known allergies or specific ingredient sensitivities, we always recommend consulting your skin health professional before introducing a new product.
Is there a color/tint to it?
Sunforgettable® Total Protection™ Face Shield Matte SPF 50 has a universal shade due to the coloring of iron oxides. However, when it is applied on the skin, the formula allows for sheer application with no white residue unlike other mineral sunscreen care products.
This sounds like the solution for my oily skin, but I would like color coverage. What should I use this with?
To achieve color coverage with the Sunforgettable® Total Protection™ Face Shield Matte SPF 50, we have a variety of options.
For color coverage in powder format, apply Face Shield Matte, then follow with the Natural Finish Pressed Foundation SPF 20 in a shade of your choice.
For color coverage in liquid format, Matte can be layered under Face Shield Flex for medium to buildable color coverage.
Apply Matte first and allow 1 minute to set. Then follow with your preferred shade of Face Shield Flex.
How long do I have to wait before I go into the sun?
As with all SPF products, Sunforgettable® Total Protection™ Face Shield SPF 50 should be applied 15 minutes prior to exposure. Like all SPF products, reapply every 2 hours. For convenient reapplication on-the-go or directly over makeup, Use the Total Protection™ Brush-on Shield SPF 50 brush for all-day, on-the-go reapplication every 2 hours.
