How do I best apply a hair mask?
After double cleansing your hair, squeeze out excess water before applying Deeper Love Intense Treatment Mask through your mid lengths and ends. Detangle with a wide-tooth comb. Leave for 5 minutes before gently rinsing out with warm water. Use weekly or more frequently for dry or damaged hair.
What is a hair mask?
Masks are created to penetrate the cuticle (surface layer of the hair) and to deeply nourish, hydrate and/or strengthen. Often they will contain ingredients and actives with a more efficacious nature to a regular conditioner. Whether you are looking to hydrate hair, repair, strengthen or even volumise there is a mask for every hair concern. You just need to find the right one for you.
How often should you use a hair mask?
For healthy hair, that you want to maintain using a treatment mask every 3 to 4 washes will ensure you keep your hair health in top condition. For hair in need of deeper hydration, repair and strengthening using more regularly would be ideal, every 2-3 cleanse.
How long should I leave a hair mask on?
We recommend that you leave our treatments masks on for at least 5 minutes - however, you may leave on for longer. There is a limit with how much your hair can absorb so leaving it on for longer does not necessarily mean better results. Our recommended directions will always ensure you achieve the best results from our products.
How much hair mask to use?
Use enough of your mask to evenly cover your hair, in particularly mid lengths to ends.
Is it okay to leave the hair mask in overnight
You may leave a mask in overnight, although it does not mean it will deliver better results than following the recommended 5 minutes. Hair can only absorb so much, and directions for use are created for optimum results from your hair products.
