"I still remember being 13 and saving up my allowance to buy my first MAC eyeshadow. Walking into the store, I felt completely overwhelmed by all the colours and options. I was a little nervous and unsure of where to start.
Then one of the makeup artists approached me. She had flawless makeup, perfect hair, and was wearing the exact shimmery blue eyeshadow I was hoping to find. She took the time to talk to me, guide me, and made me feel like I belonged in that space.
That moment has stayed with me. It was the first time I understood that beauty is both deeply personal and powerful. The right interaction can leave someone feeling seen and confident in their own skin.
